Saša Mirković is a journalist, media manager, former Vice Minister, consultant and university lecturer.
He currently works as a media consultant and a lecturer at Faculty of Media and Communications, Singidunum University in Belgrade, Serbia.
Mirkovic co-foundend the Radio B 92, the only independent radio station during the regime of Slobodan Milosevic. From 1993 to 2003 he worked as a General manager of the RTV B 92. He also co-founded the Association of independent electronic media (ANEM).
Mirković was Assistant Minister (2013 - 2014) and State Secretary (2014 - 2016) in the Ministry for Culture and Information in the Government of the Republic of Serbia. During his mandate, three media laws have been adopted. In 2014m Serbia reached its highest ranking (54th place) on Reporters without Borders World Press Freedom Index.
Saša Mirković has a PhD in media communication and an M.A.in Law, Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade.
