Lucy Kueng is an advisor, professor and expert on strategy, innovation and leadership who focuses on successful responses to the challenges of digitalization. From 2016-17 she was Google Digital News Senior Visiting Research Fellow at the Reuters Institute, Oxford, and is currently Visiting Professor of Media Innovation at the University of Oslo and Non-Executive Board Member of the NZZ Media Group. She keynotes frequently at international conferences and is the author of numerous books and cases including Going Digital – A Roadmap for Organisational Transformation, Innovators in Digital News, Strategic Management in the Media (winner of the AEMJM Media Management Book Award), Inside the BBC and CNN – Managing Media Organizations, and When Innovation Fails to Disrupt, the Case of BBC News Online. Lucy Kueng is based in Zürich and Oxford and holds a PhD and Habilitation from the University of St Gallen, Switzerland, and an MBA from City University/Ashridge in London. In 2017 she received the EMMA Award for excellence in media management scholarship and practice.
