Daniela Prugger, born in 1990 in Brunico, is a freelance correspondent based in Kyiv. After studying journalism in Vienna and Seville, she graduated from the Reportage School in Reutlingen. Since 2019, she has been reporting from Ukraine for German and English-language media. Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, she has been working for Der Standard (Austria), WOZ (Switzerland), ff (South Tyrol), as well as the radio programs of ORF and RAI. In 2023, she was awarded the Claus Gatterer Prize.
