Mr. Botond Feledy is foreign policy expert currently living in Brussels. He is senior non-resident fellow at the Centre of Euro-Atlantic Integration and Development (CEID), and focuses his research on EU-US relations, cyber security and influence operations in Central Europe.
In 2017 Mr Feledy was elected as member of the #NewEurope100, a joint initiative of Google, Financial Times, Visegrad Fund and the Polish Res Publica Foundation, to choose yearly the hundred most transformative person of the Central European region.
Until 2020 he was director of the Saint Ignatius Jesuit College, and co-president of the Institute of Social Reflection.In 2011- 2012 Me Feledy was head of the foreign affairs desk of the MTI (Hungarian Press Agency).
In 2007 Mr Feledy was one of the founder and editor in chief of the Hungarian thematic foreign policy news portal, Kitekintő. Previously he had worked at the European Parliament.
He earned his Juris Doctor at Eötvös Lorand University, he studied European and French law at Aix-Marseille III and gained a diploma at Paris II-Panthéon-Assas in France. He holds a Master in international relations of Sciences Po Bordeaux, and worked one year in Berlin as DAAD research fellow at the Otto Suhr Institut of International Political Economy at Freie Universitaet.
